A quick discussion to assess your maintenance requirements and take a look at your website to see if we can help.

2. Choose Your Hours

Choose from a set plan (see pricing below) or we’ll create a fully tailored package to suite your monthly hourly requirments.

3. Backups & Monitoring

Included for free with all mainteance plans. We’ll initiate daily backups and ongoing uptime monitoring.

4. Maintenance Work

Throughout the month, we’ll carry out the agreed maintenance work based on your total number of hours purchased.

5. Monthly Report

A consice report of everything we’ve updated, maintained and worked on, as well as your uptime and performance results.

6. Cancel Anytime

Cancel your hours at any time via your customer portal. A month’s notice is preferred, but not strictly necessary.

Who will I be working with?
Mike Hindle - Founder of Clearcut Derby.

Ayup! My name’s Mike Hindle. It’s me who’ll be carrying out the work on your WordPress maintenance plan.

I’m big on fast, clear and concise communication. During working hours (Mon to Fri – 8am to 4pm), you can usually expect a reply to your email within one hour. I’m also available on the phone when needed.

I’ve got plenty of expereicne, having designed, built and maintained WordPress websites for over 11 years. Optimising WordPress is also a passion of mine, so your website will be in safe hands as we work together to improve your performance and conversions.

How do we agree on the work?

The following services are included as mandatory (although free of charge) with your WordPress maintenance plan:

  • Updates
  • Backups
  • Uptime monitoring
  • Monthly report

In addition to the above, your requested allocation of hours can be used for any of the maintenance and support services we offer.

We’ll discuss your priorities at the beginning of your plan and check in with each other at the end of each month to plan the following month’s work.

When will you update plugins?

WordPress, Theme and Plugin Updates

Your website will be monitored for any required updates. I’ll action these as soon as I’m aware of them. Generally speaking, this will be within 24 hours of the update becoming available.

In addition to your plugins, I’ll ensure your WordPress theme and WordPress itself are all up-to-date and working as they should be.

When is my site backed up?

I’ll back your site up every 24 hours, unless there are any specific reasons that we’d need to adjust this time frame.

Normally your backup will run at midnight, but again, if we need to edit this time for any reason, that’s absolutely fine.

How does your pricing work?

As a business in a somewhat unsteady economy, I run as efficiently as possible with minimal overheads.

While budgets are being reduced, I’ve adapted with the current landscape to help maximise your online potential while streamlining your outgoings.

  • For tax year 25/26, my rate is £60 per hour

Clearcut Derby’s maintenance and support services are all handled by the business owner, Mike Hindle. Hey, that’s me! I’ve got a small team of freelancers to call upon when needed, but generally speaking, I’m a one-man agency.

This is how I’ve managed to drastically reduce my outgoings and pass the savings directly on to your business.

WordPress Maintenance Payments

Payments are via our provider, Stripe. We’ll set you up with an account that you can access and manage via your customer portal.

We’ll set up a subscription based on the number of support hours you require each month. Once you’ve added your card details, the payment will be processed automatically on the first of each month.

You can cancel or change your subscription at any time.

Bonus – 1% of your payment is donated towards helping fund the next generation of carbon removal technologies via Stripe Climate.
